“I grew up in a foster home. Although I was adopted as a baby, 74 children came in and out of our home anywhere from a few days to a few years at a time. As a little girl my eyes met new friends every time my mom opened the door. Usually they carried a black garbage bag with all their belongings.” – Holley Myers Kaiser, owner
Holley’s Place Frozen Yogurt in Centralia, Washington wanted to help by partnering with Marissa Dykman, a Together We Rise online intern. On August 20th, Holley’s Place generously donated 50% of their profits to Together We Rise! Because of this, Marissa will be able to provide 30 Sweet Cases to foster children in Lewis County, Washington. In addition to this, Holley’s husband has graciously opened up his business space, Hub City Supply, for Marissa’s Sweet Case Build in November!
Without the help from the Together We Rise online interns, we would not be able to provide Sweet Cases to children all around the United States. Thank you to Holley, her family, and Marissa Dykman!
