What Is Involved?

Volunteers are the backbone of Disney Days, their generosity and hard work make this reunification event possible. Our Disney Days volunteers help with child transportation from the buses to the park, signing in groups, chaperoning throughout the day, providing meals, and making sure each child has a memorable day with their sibling at Disney World in Orlando, Florida!

Do I Need to Pay Admission to the Park?

Yes, volunteers sponsor a child in foster care and their own ticket. You are welcome to sponsor upfront or host a fundraising campaign through our organization.

Financial Requirements

Each chaperone must sponsor or fundraise for a child to attend Disney Days. Individual sponsorships are $550 and groups of 6 are $4,500.

What Does My Sponsorship Cover?

Your sponsorship contributes to your admission, that of a child, transportation, meals, souvenirs, and treats in the park.

Volunteer Requirements

For safety purposes, all Disney Days volunteers must be 18 years or older and are subject to a background check.

How Long Are The Shifts?

For the benefit of the children's experience, we ask all volunteers to commit to the entire day for an average of 10 to 12 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Did Disney Days Start?

11 years ago our founder Danny decided to take some kids in foster care to Disneyland for his birthday. Rather than accepting gifts, his friends helped him fundraise and donate towards the first unofficial Disney Days.

When is Disney Days?

At the end of September. To protect the children attending Disney Days the dates and time of the event are closed.

Does Foster Love Pick the Siblings that Attend?

No. Foster Love is an indirect provider of support. This means that we do not directly choose any of the children who attend Disney Days.

How are the Children Selected?

Because of logistics, we select a few local foster agencies that can invite the children they help. These partner agencies have personal relationships with the children they care for and support our mission to help them.

Does Disney Donate to Disney Days?

Disney is not a current sponsor. Their staff does work with us to ensure that we can maneuver our dollies full of food and snacks to and from the meeting area safely. We greatly appreciate all of the cast members!

Can My Business Support Disney Days?

Yes! We have so many ways for individuals, groups, and businesses to get involved. If you are interested in learning more about corporate opportunities check them out here.

Can I Volunteer?

We'd love your help! Volunteer applications are open now and will close once spots are filled.

If you are not local to Orlando, FL. and want to help with Disney Days consider starting a Disney Days fundraiser to support the sibling reunification event. You can also help us by sharing a Disney Days post, volunteering at an in-house event, or donating to the event to make a huge impact too.

When do Volunteer Applications Open?

We open volunteer applications for the following year in late spring. To stay informed, signup for our newsletter.
