Smile Direct Club Partners to Help Kids in Foster Care
SmileDirectClub partnered with Foster Love - Together We Rise in an effort to help kids in care build their confidence. Foster youth face countless obstacles and building self-esteem is one front that is a constant struggle for many.
This October our friends at SmileDirectClub reached out and asked how they could help youth in foster care. Together we decided to plan and host two Confidence Camps to empower kids in care to help them reach their goals and even transform their smiles!
What is the Smile Direct Club
Some of you may be wondering, what is SmileDirectClub. SmileDirectClub is an oral care company with the first MedTech platform for teeth straightening. Through its cutting-edge teledentistry technology, it connects customers to a licensed doctor in their area to prescribe and monitor clear aligner therapy to straighten customer’s teeth for 60% less than traditional methods. SmileDirectClub’s mission is to democratize access to a smile each and every person loves by making it affordable and convenient for everyone.

We are grinning from ear to ear with excitement about the Confidence Camps! The boys had a video game competition, built skateboards, and binge-watched the “Mission Impossible” franchise for a movie night. The girls had a spa day with pedicures and facials, and they tie-dyed shirts. The highlight of the day for each group was a talk via Zoom with a celebrity influencer. Collin Sexton, the point guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers, spoke to the boys, and Madison Bailey, star of the Netflix drama “Outer Banks,” spoke to the girls. Feeling good about yourself is more than a smile, it starts from within and radiates outward. Our friends at SmileDirectClub believe that everyone should have the opportunity to cultivate confidence and have a smile that they love.
