Team Building Activities for Work: Edwards Lifescience

Creating team building activities for work is one of our specialties. Foster Love - Together We Rise recently partnered with Edwards Lifescience for a super fun team building project at work.

Who is Edwards Lifescience?

Edwards Lifescience’s commitment to maintaining its integrity through honest practices is commendable. Their website explains their origin story.
Edwards was a 60-year-old, recently retired engineer holding 63 patents in an array of industries, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a dream of helping patients with heart disease. His fascination with healing the heart was sparked in his teens, when he suffered two bouts of rheumatic fever, which can scar heart valves and eventually cause the heart to fail. We partner with physicians to innovate products designed to help patients live longer, healthier and more productive lives. We focus on medical technologies that address large and growing patient populations in which there are significant unmet clinical needs.

A Glimpse at Edwards Team Building Activities for Work

We met the Edwards team at their headquarters and set up for their team building activities. With 50 employees total, we opted to divide everyone up into groups of three. Each group of three built two bikes a piece for a total of 30 beautiful bikes. Since the event took place outdoors we had a great time quality testing each bike.
The team built all the bikes like professionals. Our load-in and out time happened so quickly! We wish we spent more time with our new Edwards friends. All bikes built during the event benefit local children in foster care.

In Conclusion

In conclusion, we want to thank our generous friends at Edwards for hosting fun team building activities for work. Bikes bring so much joy to children in care and this team build made it happen! For those interested in team building for charity, contact us here.
