Team building activities for work with our neighbors, Danaher. On the fun rare occasion the Foster Love - Together We Rise gets a fun team building activity with a local company. This October we got to work with our Brea neighbors at Danaher a subsidiary of Beckman Coulter.

Who is Danaher?

Danaher, a global science and technology innovator committed to helping customers solve complex challenges and improving quality of life around the world, has been a committed partner of TWR, hosting several team building events in recent years.

A division of Beckman Coulter develops, manufactures, and markets innovative products to simplify and automate complex biomedical testing. The company’s leading-edge diagnostic systems are found in hospitals and other critical care settings. They help physicians around the world diagnose disease, make treatment decisions and monitor patient health.

The company is also a leading provider of in vitro diagnostic systems and reproductive health products. A partnership with the Chinese government is expected to reduce incidences of birth defects and improve the quality of life for newborns. This is possible by making high-quality prenatal screening services available to more than 5 million women.

Founded in 1935 by Caltech professor Arnold O. Beckman, Beckman Coulter and Danaher came together in 2011.

Team Building Activities for Work

The team building activity for work took place as part of a team conference kick off in Brea, CA. Over 30 Danaher staff from around the world came together to help youth in foster care. Danaher team members from Europe, Brazil, Canada, and the United States participated in four TWR programs – Sweet Cases, Birthday Boxes, Build a Board and Bike Build. Together the team built and decorated 10 of each program. To conclude, all items go to benefit 40 local kids in foster care.
