No one knows the hardships of 2020 like children in foster care. This year has devastated the foster care community creating more visible cracks in an already strained system. We ask you to make a tax-deductible donation to help bring hope and essential items to children in foster care and their families.
End of year giving is a campaign that many nonprofits participate in to help their cause and remind their supporters of tax incentives they may benefit from.
2020 has been a difficult year for most people. Sadly, COVID has brought on more suffering and uncertainty to children in foster care. Now more than ever, donations are needed to provide support and fill the gap of essential items.
Together We Rise values every donation that comes in and believes in transparency. Learn where your donation dollars will go here.
The tax code for donations to charities has changed this year. Under the pandemic relief program, you can take a deduction of up to $300 for contributions made in 2020, even if you don’t itemize on your income tax return. This is a temporary change for the 2020 tax year to help support charities during this COVID crisis.
Please keep in mind that these deductions are only available when donations are made before December 31, 2020. Donations must be made to a qualified 501(3)c public charity like Together We Rise.
